Here are the co-founders behind the project.
Originally from California, I have lived in France since 2012 and have been teaching French online since 2014.
In my spare time, I do musical theater and bake lots of treats.
A Lyon native, I started my teaching career in 2015 working with immigrants in France before teaching French for professionals.
When I’m not working I like to ride my motorcycle and headbang at concerts.
The history behind Pardon My Learning
From classmates to co-founders
We met in 2016 in our Master’s program for Teaching French as a Second and Foreign Language at the Université Lyon 2 in Lyon, France. After receiving our diplomas in 2018, we worked for various companies as French teachers as well as pedagogical engineers specialized in e-learning.
The project Pardon My Learning was born in 2020. We wanted to develop a quality-based and fully interactive online program that was true to us. Our methodology covers all skills needed for learning a language: reading and listening comprehension, writing and speaking without forgetting the culture behind it all.
Our goal is to make learning French accessible, judgment-free, and above all, fun!
